What is a channel?

Put simply, a Parent Hub channel is something that you use to communicate with parents.

You can think of it like a television for parental engagement! Your TV receives channels for news, films or sports (to name but a few) and, when you tune in to one of those channels you become the grateful recipient of all its lovely content.

Channels in Parent Hub work in the same way...sort of! You create one or more channels for your classes, clubs, groups or teams and take on the role of the broadcaster, posting great updates and useful info in your channels.

And parents are the 'viewers', choosing to subscribe to your channels and then receiving in the app all of the great stuff you're sending out.
