If you can't open Microsoft Word attachments, it may be that you don't have an app that allows you to open certain types of document.
Most Android devices come with Google Docs as standard. The first thing to check is whether this is the case on your phone...
- Open the Settings on your phone.
- Scroll down and select Applications (sometimes called Apps or Application Manager).
- See if you have "Docs" in the list.
If you DO have Docs installed, open it and check that it's enabled. If it's disabled, enable it. You can then go back to Parent Hub to check whether you can open your attachments now.
If you DON'T have Docs installed you'll need to download a document viewer from the Play Store. Being as it's Google's own, we'd recommend you install Google Docs but there are plenty of other document viewers to choose from on the Play Store.
Just open up the Play Store and search for Docs. It'll look like this...
Once you have a document viewing app installed, you should immediately be able to open attachments in the Parent Hub app!
If this doesn't do the trick, just send an email to support@parenthub.co.uk and one of our team will be happy to help you out.
