Please note: This guide applies only to people with the Admin privilege at schools using the integrated version of Parent Hub.
Why is this important?
Verification is a 3-step security check that links a parent's app to their record in your MIS. Only verified app contacts can receive Direct Messages or view their child's attendance in the app. Parents complete these steps by 'adding their children' in the app (Schools > Add My Children), and it's all based around their mobile number.

The Parent Support section in Parent Hub is designed to help you spot any issues with data in your MIS that will prevent parents from verifying their Parent Hub app accounts.
You can find Parent Support in the Admin section by clicking Admin > Parent Support
The aim of the game is for the row of boxes in the Parent Support Dashboard to be empty - zeroes in each box is good news as it means parents will be able to breeze through the 3 verification steps.
The 4 main data issues highlighted on the Parent Support Dashboard are as follows:
- Student Contacts with duplicate mobile numbers in your MIS
- Students who have no contacts with Parental Responsibility
- Student Contacts with no mobile number
- Students who have no Priority 1 contacts
