Sharing documents

Not everyone finds it easy to read the documents they receive on their mobile phone. If this is you, then this guide explains how you can get documents on to your computer instead.

When you receive a document in the Parent Hub app, you can use the sharing options on your device to print it, email it to yourself or save it into a file storage application, like Dropbox (if you use it).

1. Open the Parent Hub app and find the attachment that you want to read.
2. Tap on the attachment to open it.
3. At the top of the screen there will be an options button, which looks different depending on the file viewing app you're using and the kind of phone you have. The Android default is three dots stacked on top of each other; on iPhones you'll see a box with an upwards arrow.
4. Choose how you would like to share the file, e.g. email, print or download.

TIP: One of the easiest ways to get the file on to your computer is just to email it to yourself!
