Ready to launch Parent Hub with your parents? That's GREAT news!
To launch, all you need to do is get your School Handle out to parents as efficiently as possible. There are a few ways to do this but here's our recommended tips, based on our analysis of parent sign-up behaviour across hundreds of schools:
TIP 1 - TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE!
The most likely time a parent is going to sign up is between 15:00 and 16:00 on a weekday.
TIP 2 - SEND THE INVITE WITH A PERSONALISED SMS
Remember that when you send a message to a parent who is SMS enabled, you can still send attachments (more on this here).
The best sign-up response comes when a personalised Direct Message is sent to parents with the invite posted attached. This is because the parent receives a personalised message that contains a link to the sign-up poster.
All they have to do is tap on the link and voila - they have the download instructions as well as a quick link to download the app right there in their hand.
Need some welcome message inspiration? Copy and paste this into the Direct Message message box (it already contains the custom tags that make sure the message gets personalised).
