Parent Hub considers anyone with parent responsibility for a current student to be a student contact. In most MIS, this is recorded as a tick-box on the parent's record.
The Admin > Healthcheck page highlights any students that have no contacts with parental responsibility, because it means your messages won't be able to reach the parents for that student yet. It'll also prevent them verifying their app account (also known as 'adding their children' in the app).
Fixing this issue is usually a quick fix for the following:
- A parent is seeing the "PV2 - mobile number not recognised" error when trying to add their children in the app.
- A student is highlighted in red when I send a One-way Message.
Remember to wait 24 hours for Parent Hub to sync with your MIS after making this change, or sync your data live if supported for your MIS.
