Private Channels
Channels – already one of our most widely-used features – has had an exciting upgrade: Private Mode
With Private Mode switched on, access to a channel will be limited to contacts in the MIS groups you’ve linked, plus any additional app followers you select individually.
Change a channel’s privacy mode by clicking Actions > Edit channel details. New channels can be created with Private Mode already enabled.
Private Mode is available to all schools on a Parent Hub Plus or Pro plan, and anyone with the Engagement Power-Up. To check which plan you’re on, just click Upgrade top right anytime.

Edit and resend
Our new Edit and Resend feature will save you lots of time.
Head to Direct Messages > View Direct Messages and you’ll notice each message has a new Edit and Resend button next to the read receipts button, top right.
Press it, and Parent Hub will re-create your message for you, complete with attachments and the original students. Then just make any changes you need, and hit Send!
It works for Slip Messages and Attendance Alerts too. We’ve also enhanced the search feature to make finding those messages faster.
Edit and Resend is part of the new Shortcuts and Automations feature set – included with all Plus and Pro plans and available to anyone with the Engagement Power-Up. To check which plan you’re on, just click Upgrade top right anytime.
Slips

Add Questions to your Slips
From now on you can build forms in Parent Hub. From lunch choices, to expressions of interest, to feedback questionnaires – use Slip Questions for anything.
You can create slips with Consent, Questions, Payment, or any combination.
To use Slip Questions, you’ll need a plan that includes Premium Slips . To check which plan you’re on, just click Upgrade top right anytime.
To show you how it all works, we’ve prepared a 4-minute video demo:
